Message from the Co-Chairs, February 2021

Dear Classmates,

Last year, when we postponed our 40-year reunion, we assumed that we would reschedule for summer 2021.  With many factors influencing when individuals will receive vaccines, along with the lead-time required to plan a large event, we are sadly unable to reschedule our event for this calendar year.

The good news is, we have been able to make lemons into lemonade by holding two successful Zoom events. Everyone enjoyed reconnecting with old friends during these unprecedented times, and we were inspired to hear from classmates working on the front lines as healthcare/other essential workers.

When it is appropriate, we’ll re-schedule an event in Madison.  Meantime, we’d like to hold additional Zoom events, and we are looking for volunteers to help. Please share your ideas for future Zoom events and also let us know how you can help with planning/hosting using the email button below. We can’t do it without you!

On a final note, the medical professionals on our recent Zoom call urged us to stay vigilant by social distancing and mask-wearing, and to get vaccinated when eligible.  We think that’s great advice.  Let’s all stay safe and then we can look forward to a SERIOUS PARTY when this is all behind us!

Your Reunion Co-Chairs,

Lynn Bodi and Steve Thompson
